Medical Colleges of Bangladesh

Location – Winnerpar, 10km. ahead of Mymensingh town adjacent to Dhaka-Mymensingh highway Road. By road from Dhaka and Mymensingh town by easily available public transport.

Year of Establishment – 1995

Community based medical college Bangladesh is duly recognized by Bangladesh medical and dental council, Government of Bangladesh and affiliated with the Dhaka University since its establishment. College is recognized by Bangladesh College of physicians and surgeons (BCPS) for training of the doctors in the departments of medicine, surgery, obstetrics-Gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology, and otolaryngology and head neck surgery. The ministry of health and family welfare, Government of Bangladesh and WHO have endorsed the inclusion of Community based medical college in the World Directory of Medical Institutions. The College is affiliated with university of Dhaka, Recognized by Bangladesh medical and dental council and Enlisted with MCI.

The academic and administrative facilities of the college are provided in its own constructed four storied building and hospital facilities are housed in a three storied building. The hospital building has a provision for 650beds covering all disciplines as required for an undergraduate medical institution. Besides these 416 beds capacity three storied boys hostel and 323 beds capacity ladies hospital are situated in the same campus. A beautiful four storied dormitory is presently used by the in service trainee doctors.
